The launch issue of March 2007 includes:
• An intriguing unpublished Wagner letter to a Milanese milliner
• Arnold Whittall on A Tale of Two Sisters, Brünnhilde and Waltraute
• A new translation, with annotation and illustrations, of a review by Wagner of Bellini’s Norma. The review, which expresses Wagner’s enthusiasm for the opera in hyperbolic terms, was not published until 1973 and therefore not included in any edition of Wagner’s writings.
